Our first paper using vision transformer as a model of human attention has been posted on arXiv . We found that DINO, non-supervised learning, fosters three distinct groups of attention heads: one closely resembling human attention, another focused on figures, and a third on the background. DINO-trained ViTs offer insight into how human overt attention and figure-ground separation develop in visual perception.

A new paper by Uchimura, Kumano, and Kitazawa, has been published in J Neurosci. . We discovered that a region in the brain called the precuneus uses a coordinate system anchored to the external world.
